  1. Thanks Kala. I realised at the end that I had made the eyes too big, but got over it and went with it anyway.

  3. I used a ball tin for the head (or you could use any type of bowl tin) and a large flat rectangular tin for the body and face. I drew my own templates (using the Raa Raa photo as a guide) and cut the shapes for his body and face out around this. I also love working with fondant icing as I love the look of the finish. The tail, eyes, ears and stripes are all just fondant, moulded rolled and cut. Look up tips on working with fondant though as there are lots of good tips out there that I have picked up each time I have made a cake (a whopping 5 times now).

Let me know if you have any specific questions. Don't be afraid to make it up as you go along.

    Good luck!

  4. This has really made me laugh! I know exactly what you mean about not wanting to make the bull cake, for no apparant reason and yet needing to gently change your son's mind, without his Dad around! lol. It's so true. Lovely cake by the way. :) I have one to make in a few weeks time for my son. Fingers crossed he doesn't ask for a bull! x
